19TH C. BRONZE LAOTIAN TEMPLE BUDDHA

Very large, strong Laotian temple Buddha.  23 1/2 inches tall.  Deeply contemplative face and nice lotus base with temple inscription in Pali (difficult to see in this picture).  Patina is accurately pictured.  No significant damage or restoration.  I have come to increasingly favor Laotian buddhas because they are less formulaic and show greater individual expressivity.  Others appear to agree, as the prices keep rising significantly.  Would make a great focal point for an altar space.  Previously $2500, now $2000   Reduced to $1800
